- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number

Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our Site may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages viewed and time spent on the Site, and the referring website or link that brought you here. This information is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the Site and to keep it running securely. It is not used to personally identify you.
Cookies
Our Site may use cookies, which are small text files stored on your device, to remember your preferences and to support basic Site functionality and analytics. Most web browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Site.
Donations and Payment Processing
All contributions made through this Site are processed by Anedot, Inc., a third-party payment processor.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, debit card number, CVV code, or bank account credentials. That information is transmitted directly to and handled by Anedot under its own security standards and privacy practices.
When you make a contribution, Anedot collects the information required to process your payment and the information the Campaign is legally required to report, which under California law includes your full name, mailing address, occupation, employer, contribution amount and date, email address, and phone number.
Anedot shares this contributor information with the Campaign so we can maintain accurate financial records, thank our supporters, and meet our reporting obligations. Anedot handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review at anedot.com/privacy.
Required Public Disclosure of Contributions
Please be aware that California campaign finance law requires committees to publicly report certain contributor information. For contributions that meet or exceed the reporting threshold set by the California Political Reform Act, the Campaign is required to disclose the contributor name, city, state, ZIP code, occupation, employer, and contribution amount in campaign statements filed with the appropriate election officials. These filings become part of the public record. This disclosure is a legal requirement and is not something the Campaign can waive at a donor request.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through this Site, including the use of secure connections (HTTPS) and reputable third-party processors for financial transactions. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to carry out the purposes described in this policy and to comply with California campaign finance recordkeeping requirements, which generally require committees to retain contribution records for a period of years after the applicable election.
Children Privacy
This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will take steps to delete it. To make a request, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
