Modesto is my home. I grew up here, attended Stanislaus Elementary School and Prescott Junior High, and continue to live here with my wife Jazmine and our daughters Rhema and Annahi who are enrolled in the school district, along with two of our nieces.
As a product of our public schools and a parent of students in the district, I understand what our kids need to succeed. I will be a strong advocate for students at Chrysler Elementary, Prescott Junior High, and all other school sites.
I earned my degree at Modesto Junior College, laying the foundation for everything that followed.
I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from San José State University.
Student achievement, responsible spending, and protecting classroom resources will be my top priorities on the school board.
As Chairman of the Stanislaus Unified Bond Oversight Committee, I work to ensure bond funds are spent as voters intended including new playground equipment, all-weather tracks, and TK classrooms.
As a transit planner, I help allocate millions of dollars toward bus and sidewalk infrastructure that keeps our community connected and safe.
I serve as a member of the Latino Community Roundtable, working alongside neighbors to strengthen our community.
I serve as a Warrant Officer in the California Army National Guard and was deployed to Iraq in 2017–18.
